2019 Highlights video

Overview

My team and I created a highlights video recapping some of our favorite projects that we worked on for LinkedIn in 2019.

The purpose of creating this video for LinkedIn was two-fold:

  1. To celebrate our partnership and enjoy the memories of the fun projects we worked on.

  2. As a calling card of sorts in efforts that it would be shared to other teams in the org and hopefully gain us more work.

Interview question generator

Assets Created

  • Interactive website

  • Video & static social banners

Objective

  • Attract and engage select SMB prospects with an interactive landing page that could be customized to individual recruiter’s needs.

Details

  • I built a web-based questionnaire that invites recruiters to select interview questions that helped screen for specific traits.

  • The site’s simple, modern design and UI/UX made it easy to finalize and print a list of questions that interviewers can take with them to candidate screenings.

  • Once you submit your details, the site will email you a PDF of a summary

Search & Staffing Emerging Jobs Report

Goal:
We were tasked with creating LinkedIn’s first ever Emerging Jobs Report for search and staffing agencies.

Using their data, LinkedIn was able to identify not only these emerging jobs, but also the skills uniquely associated with the roles, as well as insights about which industries and cities are hiring this emerging workforce.

This was a massive project involving many different assets and was created for multiple localizations including US, APAC, Germany, France, Italy and the UK, just to name a few.

Assets Created:

  • Website

  • Social Ads

  • Email

  • Downloadable eBook

  • Custom icon set

  • 8x localizations

Linkedin Premium

Goal

Revamp the Premium microsite to be more acquisition focused primarily on the career and business SKUs, with de-emphasized positioning of Recruiter Lite and Sales Navigator. Scope included updating UX flow, optimizing it for mobile & desktop acquisition, and updating content & visuals to current branding standards.

Assets Created:

  • Social Ads

  • Website

Results

⭐️ 2X Improvement ⭐️

For the first full week where the redesign was live, (week starting 5/20/2018), 472 direct orders came through the microsite (more than a 2X improvement over the 150-200 orders we were trending at before.)

LinkedIn has learned a lot about it’s launches. Sometimes they crushed it; sometimes it all went wrong, but they always learned. Generations of cross-functional teams had slowly built up their own unique LinkedIn way to launch products and, for the first time, LinkedIn wanted it writen down.

This playbook captures how LinkedIn Talent Solutions brings products to market. The models in this playbook are a common language to improve cross-team collaboration and execution. This is their legacy to teach the next generation of launch leaders.
